What are GRP garage doors?

GRP garage doors are made from glass reinforced polyester or fiberglass and are available from Mansfield Garage Doors. We can source a wide range of designs to suit the customer’s requirements from Wessex Garage Doors.

GRP garage doors are very hard wearing and are built to last with minimum maintenance. They can withstand harsh weather, occasional knocks and are relatively lightweight and durable enough to withstand rotting or be prone to rusting that could eventually occur with a steel door. They are available in a white gloss finish or as a wood grain effect in various different designs and styles. A wide range of colours are available too. They come in a range of sizes and are also available as a made to measure size. They can be fitted between your brickwork, or behind, giving a wider drive through width. They are all fully finished and require nothing more than the occasional wash down!

As a guide on price, we usually tell customers that GRP garage doors are similar in price to timber doors and just less than double the price of a steel garage door.
