Insulated Garage Doors

When choosing a new garage door, insulated garage doors maybe a good option to consider, particularly if your garage is attached to your house.

We can install insulated sectional garage doors, insulated roller garage doors or insulated side-hinged garage doors.

The insulated sectional steel garage doors from Hormann are 42mm thick and have foam encased between 2 steel panels. The thicker panel makes for a more durable, hardwearing garage door and also increases security and soundproofing. Once the door is closed, the rubber seals, which are all the way round the door, help to prevent water ingress, leaves and vermin entering your garage.

Insulated roller door offer similar advantages to insulated sectional garage doors and are a similar price. The insulation in roller doors isn’t as thick as the insulation in sectional garage doors, however they do still offer the same benefits.

Having an insulated side-hinged garage door installed means you don’t have to open the whole door, which is especially handy if you use the garage for storage space, as an office or utility, rather than for storing your car. Having the insulation is of high benefit, keeping the garage draft free and warmer.
