Operation and Installation
Installation is extremely easy and our engineers will explain everything to you on completion of installation including safety features and maintenance tips. The PortaMatic is connected to a socket and is fastened to the frame or above the door. Extra visual and acoustic functions can be added also, including LED illumination and acoustic signals before the door is about to move. This is important in poorly lit areas and during the darkness of night time.
The operator runs on Hormann’s BiSecur radio system via the transmitter and you can query whether your door is open or closed, a very useful feature. As with all products from Hormann, convenience and safety go hand in hand. The operation is soft-start and soft-stop and is extremely quiet. The level of safety is extremely high and even the slightest touch will stop the door from moving.
