John Brooks formed Woodrite Doors in early 2010. With over thirty years experience in all things garage doors and having run his own independent timber shop, the motto of “Good with Wood” was an obvious choice.

John’s renowned “can-do attitude” is in full flow, ensuring that every aspect of what makes a quality garage door is continually monitored. We like our little mottos and “we cut wood, not corners” is another favourite!

All up and over doors are supplied on retractable opening gear as standard. Retractable gear is ultra-reliable and perfect for automation. It also provides light and easy spring assisted opening when operated manually. The door slides up and back, “retracting” almost completely into the garage on tracks fixed to the garage ceiling or side walls.

Woodrite Timber Garage Doors

All of our timber garage doors are built to order from grade one selected cedar/idigbo tongue and groove boards, mouldings, cedar/idigbo faced ply and cedar/idigbo raised and fielded panels depending on style. All boards are individually dipped in a base coat to ensure penetration into the end grain and grooves. All wooden garage doors are available in a wide range of standard sizes and special sizes can be made to measure in mm increments.
