REOPENING MONDAY 12th APRIL
Our office and trades counter has been open all the way through this latest lockdown, but unfortunately our showroom has been closed as it’s not classed as ‘essential.’
We are re-opening to the public on Monday 12th April from 8am and customers are welcome to call in to browse our fantastic showroom. We may have to ask customers to wait their turn if we have a high number of visitors, but we’re hoping things will run smoothly. Any queries or concerns, please do get in touch!
We can’t wait to have customers back in our showroom, it’s so helpful for customers to be able to see our doors before they make their choice on which garage door to purchase for their property!
Lockdown – 04/01/2021
Following the Government’s announcement regarding another national lockdown we have received an update which has outlined that where people cannot work from home – including, but not limited to, people who work in critical national infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing – they should continue to travel to their workplace. This is deemed to be essential to keeping the country operating and supporting sectors and employers.
Therefore, we plan to remain open, with regard to essential repairs, installations and our sales counter for essential home repairs, as we continue to follow our covid secure measures. This decision will be reviewed regularly in the interests of our staff, clients and suppliers and in line with government guidance. Our policy with regard to our Covid arrangements has been certified with an external H&S company and if any member of the public has any concerns, please feel free to contact us.
Our engineers regularly attend testing for lateral flow quick tests at a local site and so far, all have tested negative.
Our showroom is closed, however, we are able to send out brochures and attend site for surveys. Should you wish to view our garage doors, please contact us to discuss this.
Our thoughts are with those that have been impacted by the update and we hope that by following the guidance we can return to normality soon.

We continue to follow the guidance from Public Health England on Social distancing in the workplace and already have strict rules, guidelines and due diligence in place to ensure the continued safety of our customers and ourselves.

Update – 11/09/20
We are and have always been very busy as a business, but since the easing of lockdown, we have been extremely busy. Due to this, our lead times are a little longer than we’d like them to be, so please bear with us.
Our customers keep singing our praises and leaving glowing reviews as well as emailing and telephoning our office to thank us, so we’re happy and confident we are doing the best we can! It’s fantastic to see the industry so busy after such an uncertain time and we understand there may be still, uncertain times ahead, but we’ll carry on what we are doing and we thank all our customers for their custom and patience during this hectic time!

Update 27/06/20
From Monday 29th June, we will have our full compliment of staff back at work. We thank everyone for their patience during our reduced service.
Update 18/06/2020
This week, we have brought two more of our staff back off furlough. Two staff still remain on furlough at the moment, who are due back very soon and we are reviewing our situation on a weekly basis. We are very busy and we have had lots of deliveries of new garage doors, entrance doors and gates, which we are installing as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Our excellent reputation is paying dividends now and more customers than ever are coming to us for their new garage doors, entrance doors and gates, hence we are very busy, so please bear with us. Pop in to see us for a look round our showroom and you’ll be amazed at what options we have!
We thank our fantastic team for their ongoing loyalty and always doing their best and we thank our vast customer base also. Here is an email we received yesterday, following on from their new installation this week and this is just one of many!

Update – 10/06/20
We are back in business, however, still furloughing some of our staff in line with Government Guidelines. We have been extremely busy, which we weren’t anticipating, so please bear with us and we will be available for new door installations and garage door repairs as soon as possible. We will have our full compliment of staff back very soon.
Our showroom is still open as usual for viewings and is very spacious.

Business as of Monday 27th April 2020
We are bringing our workforce back in gradually, in line with Government Guidance. So, from Monday 27th April, we have half of our team commencing their duties of carrying out new installations with regard to security and also emergency repairs. This means our teams can travel to site separately, adhering to guidelines of social distancing. We will have limited office staff in over the next few weeks while we phase our employees back into their duties gradually. All our employees are happy with this decision and will always maintain their distance from each other and customers. All our vehicles have been stocked with the relevant sanitising products required to carry out their duties safely. We are only carrying out work at sites where our customers are happy and comfortable with us being there.

Thursday 16th April 2020
As of the time of release, we are currently still furloughing all our engineers. We are reviewing Government Guidelines constantly and we will update our working arrangements accordingly. We foresee we will furlough until at least the end of week commencing 20th April, however, we will update if necessary.
All our customers who have doors in stock and customers who are awaiting delivery have been informed. Should any other customer who is awaiting work, other than new installations, be concerned or require further clarification regarding dates, please give our office a call on 01623 621999. Our office is being manned from 9am-4pm Monday-Friday at present.

As soon as things are back to some sort of normality and we are working again, we are prepared and will have the capacity to run as we did before the lockdown, so please rest assured we are here and are here to stay.
Our showroom is open for viewings as it is very spacious and a low risk area. We will always maintain our distance from customers also. As well as our showroom, we have an extensive spares department, which is also open for counter sales.
However, for now, we are keeping our staff safe by furloughing them. We are all itching to get back to it so please keep an eye out for our updates on our web site, our Facebook Page and Instagram Page. Thank you for all the support and we hope you all stay safe during this difficult time.
