Back to the good old days!

We had a phonecall to our office this week from a guy in Suffolk. He started the conversation with, ‘this is going to sound very odd, but…….’
He went on to explain he’d just moved onto a farm in Suffolk that was in his family and he was looking at the grain storage silos that were built there and noticed they were built by ‘Kirk Silo Installations Ltd’ – us!
He’d done some investigating, looked up ‘Kirk Silo Installations Ltd’ and noticed we were now ‘Mansfield Garage Doors Ltd’ and decided to give us a call, asked whether Graham Kirk was still in charge and couldn’t believe that a company that installed their silos were still around some 45 years later (actually we’re 53 years old this year!)
He and Graham had a good old chat about our silo building in the early days and how we diversified into garage doors and how lovely it was that we’re still around!
The below picture is what he sent us! Nice to hear about the good old days and remember how it all started!
