These are our terms of business as stated on our company’s quotation form:

  • In relation to these conditions MANSFIELD GARAGE DOORS is referred to as “the company” and the person or persons signing this contract is referred to as “the customer/buyer”
  • The company’s quotation does not constitute an offer. An offer from the customer/buyer based on the company’s quotation shall constitute the offer and acknowledgement of that order by the company either orally or by invoice shall constitute acceptance of that offer.
  • Orders are accepted on the basis that these conditions will apply to the exclusion of any conditions printed on customers own stationery. Orders given verbally must be confirmed in writing otherwise the company accepts no responsibility for errors in interpretation or delay in processing the order.
  • The price quoted in the company’s quotation is open for acceptance as stated.
  • prices quoted are those current at the date of quotation and shall be subject to variation without notice unless specifically stated otherwise in the quotation.
  • The customer may cancel this contract provided written notice of cancellation is sent to the company’s office as detailed, within 7 days of the date upon which this contract is signed by the customer. After expiration of seven days from the date upon which the customer signs this contract, cancellation of this contract by the customer shall amount to a breach of contract by the customer and will therefore be liable to pay to the company, by way of deduction from deposit or otherwise, the losses and expenses incurred by the company. This right to cancel does not apply where installation has commenced or been completed within the above 7 day period.
  • The company reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time by giving notice to the customer and the liability of the company in the event of such cancellation is limited to a refund of any payments made by the customer in connection with this contract.
  • The customer shall permit the company’s workmen or agents to have access to his premises at any reasonable time to enable installation to be completed.
  • All reasonable care will be taken but the company shall not be under any responsibility whatsoever for damage to internal or external structure or fittings during the installation.
  • Where the company is fixing to the customer’s frame/structure, the customer will ensure that such frames/structure are sound, square and fit for which they are intended.
  • Descriptive matter contained in catalogues, brochures and any other publication or display is believed correct and up to date, but is not warranted so at time of quotation.
  • All labour & materials supplied against this quotation are guaranteed for a period of 24 months from the date of installation.
  • All timber and G.R.P. doors are subject to individual manufacturers Conditions of Sale.
  • Payment will be the essence of the contract and shall be due as agreed.
  • The company shall have a discretion to charge and recover interest from the customer on the cost of goods or services supplied via the quotation at the rate of 5% above standard bank rate per annum or part thereof from the date upon which payment is due until the date payment is received.
  • In the event of legal action being taken by the company in pursuit of the above the customer shall be responsible for all costs and disbursements incurred by the company.
  • The risk in materials supplied by the company passes to the customer upon satisfactory installation
  • The title in materials and or labour supplied by the company shall pass to the customer upon payment in full being made.
  • The company may (where payment has not been made) for the purpose of recovery of the company’s goods or equipment, enter upon the premises where they are stored or fixed for the purpose of repossession as long as the removal of the said goods will not damage the fabric of the building to which they are fixed.
  • This contract shall be governed by the Law of England.
  • This contract shall be deemed to be made at Mansfield under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in any matter arising.

Standard Trading Terms: (unless varied in writing)

Expected delivery: – Approx. 6 weeks from order.

Quotation: open for acceptance until 23rd December 2015

All figures include vat

Full Trade discount has been applied – no further discount is available.

Works are scheduled to be completed in one day. (s)

30% deposit with written order – balance payable on completion.

2.5% added for “Credit card” payments.

Card payments can be made via the telephone or direct to Lloyds Bank (ask for details)
